Apple Fruit Crisp

Bellydance is not just about the moves, but is bound up in the culture. An integral part of culture is food!!

Ingredients:

2 cups tart apples sliced
2 cups berries (fresh or frozen)
¾ cup packed brown sugar
½ cups flour
½ cups oats
1/3 cups margarine (or butter)
¾ tsp. cinnamon
¾ tsp. nutmeg

Preheat oven to 375°.  Grease pan or casserole dish and spread fruit in the pan.  Mix all the ingredients together and crumble.  Spread over fruit and bake for 30 – 35 min.  Take out partway to cut through crumble to allow juices to spread to the top.
